Holmefest and WAdvent here on DW

tripleransomNow that Holmesslash is over here on DW, I wanted to let you all know about 2 prospective events in the fandom.
First off, Tweedisgood is asking for input on whether to run another iteration of the ACD Holmesfest. Signups would start Jan 6th - Holmes's birthday. Holmesfest has always been great fun, so go on over and let them know if you're interested in signing up for art, fic, podfic, or even just reading along. Entries must stick to ACD Canon for this one and it's a promptfic format. They're looking to gauge interest right now.
Another event that's always enjoyable is WAdvent on the Watsons Woes Community. You commit to art or fic on one (or more!) days in December. Entries must feature Watson, but can be any incarnation. It's a bit lower pressure than Holmesfest, so if the idea of writing a promptfic intimidates you, sign up for a day on WAdvent. Again, let them know if you want to participate.
